Christian Circuit Judge John Atkins won another term with a resounding victory, while Katherine Demps will serve as Christian County’s second family court judge come January.
Judge Atkins defeated former assistant commonwealth’s attorney Stephanie Bolen by nearly 5,000 votes and believes it shows the citizens of Christian County have confidence him.
Demps beat former judge Judy Hall by about 2,500 votes and says she’s ready to get started.
The new family court position was created with legislative judicial redistricting during the 2022 General Assembly session.
