As Election Day fast approaches, U.S. Senator Rand Paul made a stop at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Airport Tuesday to speak with supporters.
Paul made numerous campaign stops across the state, with even more planned for the Monday before Election Day, and Paul says he’s feeling good heading into the final week, and as he’s excited to have the chance to speak with people and hear their concerns and questions in turn.
If re-elected, Paul says one of the first things on his agenda is reigning in government spending.
He says he would like to set student loan forgiveness up on a tax-deductible style program, and thinks that what President Biden is attempting to do currently won’t be upheld in court.
Speaking to the crowd, Senator Paul says he will continue to try and investigate the origins of the COVID-19 virus and stop any government powers that attempt to exert too much control over the people.
