A Red Flag Warning is again in effect for Western Kentucky from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday as dry conditions persist.
The National Weather Service says the relative humidity could dip near or below 20 percent during the afternoon and winds from the southwest will make any wildfires spread very quickly and they’ll be difficult to put out.
Outdoor burn bans remain in place for most Western Kentucky counties, including Christian, Todd and Trigg.
