>Phillies Hold On For Game One Win In Atlanta
(Cumberland, GA) — The Phillies held on for a 7-6 victory in Game One of their National League Division Series with the Atlanta Braves. Philadelphia started fast, scoring a pair of runs in the first inning. Travis d’Arnaud slugged a solo homer to cut Atlanta’s deficit in half before the Phillies scored five straight to extend their lead to six. Matt Olson would bring the Braves within a run after hitting a three-run shot in the bottom of the ninth. Max Fried was charged with the loss after allowing six runs, four of them earned, over three and a third pitched. Kyle Wright gets the ball for the Braves in Game Two. He’ll be opposed by Zack Wheeler.
