>>Titans Lose Player to Vikings

(Nashville, TN)  — The Titans are losing one of their reserve players to an N-F-C team.  The Vikings placed running back Ty Chandler on injured reserve and signed defensive back Theo Jackson from Tennessee’s practice squad.  The safety was drafted in the sixth round back in April.

>>Tennessee Leads League in Money on I-R

(Nashville, TN)  — Tennessee is leading the league in money spent on players who are on injured reserve.  Over The Cap says the Titans have nearly 24-percent of their salary cap tied to I-R, P-U-P and non-football injury lists.  Harold Landry, Taylor Lewan and Treylon Burks are just three of the 12 players who are unable to hit the practice field.  The team is on their bye week and hopes to get some of those players back in time for their game against the Colts.

>>Bengals Release Defensive End

(Cincinnati, OH)  — The Bengals are releasing a defensive player just one day after activating him.  Khalid Kareem was waived yesterday after he was added to the 53-man roster from injured reserve on Monday.  The defensive end could make it on the team’s practice squad if he clears waivers.  The 2020 fifth round pick has played in 23 games for the team and recorded 28 tackles along with a sack.
