>>Cardinals Get Swept In Wild Card Round

(St. Louis, MO)  — The Cardinals’ season is over after getting swept by the Phillies in the NL Wild Card round two-games-to-none.  The Cardinals were shutout in a 2-0 loss in Game Two at Busch Stadium on Saturday.  Miles Mikolas was charged with the loss after giving up two runs in four-and-a-third innings.  Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina each collected base hits in their final MLB game.  St. Louis lost Game One on Friday after blowing a two-run lead in the ninth.

>>Wainwright to Make Retirement Decision Soon

(St. Louis, MO)  — Adam Wainwright says he’s still undecided about is MLB future.  The Cardinals starting pitcher told reporters over the weekend that he’s not ready to think about whether he will retire or not, but he added that fans “should know pretty soon.”  The 41-year-old has been with the Cardinals since 2005, and he went 11-and-12 with a 3.71 ERA this season.
