>>Goal-Line Interception Secures Victory for Titans over Washington

(Washington, D.C.)  — A late interception sent the Titans home happy as they secured a 21-17 victory over the Commanders in Washington.  Tennessee struggled to stop Carson Wentz, who staged a 17 play, 87-yard drive which gave Washington a chance to win with 13 seconds left.  Wentz, however, threw a pick from the two-yard line to end the game.  Derrick Henry ran for 102 yards and two touchdowns while Ryan Tannehill threw for 181 yards and a T-D.  The Titans have won three in-a-row and lead the AFC South at 3-and-2.

>>Denico Autry Says Injury Was Result of Dirty Play

(Washington, D.C.)  — A key member of the Titans’ defense says they were injured after a “dirty” play by Washington.  Denico Autry was forced to come out of the game for several plays after suffering a back injury in the third quarter.  The veteran lineman shook it off, came back and managed to record a sack in the fourth quarter.  Autry spoke with the media after the game and said he felt like the play he got hurt on was “dirty”, but he had to keep his composure.  Autry didn’t say who or what the Commanders’ offensive lineman did that caused his injury.

(Baltimore, MD)  — The Ravens earned their first home victory of the season after topping the Bengals 19-17 on Sunday night football in Baltimore.  Justin Tucker converted a 43-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Ravens to their third win of the season.  Joe Burrow threw for 217 yards, a touchdown, and an interception and ran for a score in defeat.  Cincinnati is now 2-and-3 and will visit the Saints in its next game.
