UHA Blazes Through Falcons for District Title Birth

Another beautiful evening at Fort Campbell on Tuesday night, this time for the boys half of the district eight semifinals.

Matchup number one featured UHA taking on the host team for a spot in Thursday nights title game.

The Blazers, did not take that lightly.

With twenty-five minutes to go in half number one a familiar face made a familiar play. Preston Thomas broke free and sent a line drive kick into the back of the net.

He wasn’t finished though. UHA could have easily coasted into halftime up 1-0 and knowing they had dominated possession with relative ease. Not Thomas though. He intensity and passion shined through like the setting sun behind him as he rocketed a shot past the Falcon goalie with less than a minute to go in the first half.

2-0 Blazers at halftime and honestly, not much to say after that.

UHA would score five goals in the second half completely dominated Ft. Campbell on their way to a title game birth and a grudge match with either Christian County or Hopkinsville Thursday night at six pm.

Second half goals scored by Ethan Hale (x2), Thomas, Matthew Hauret, and Ian Tyler.
