Wildcats’ TV Designations, Tip Times Released
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team has been selected for 11 nationally televised games, including two during the nonconference schedule and nine for the Southeastern Conference schedule. Highlighted by its appearance on ESPN, when Kentucky hosts Louisville inside Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center on Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. ET. Tickets to the game will be available at UKathletics.com/tickets on Oct. 11. UK’s 10 remaining nationally televised games will all air on the SEC Network, including Kentucky’s meeting with Murray State inside Memorial Coliseum on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. ET. The Wildcats will then have nine conference games on the SEC Network, with seven of those nine on the road. That will give fans ample opportunity to watch the Blue and White away from home on national television. Those road matchups on the SEC Network include its conference opener at Missouri on Dec. 29 at 9 p.m. ET, at Georgia on Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. ET, at Florida on Jan. 15 at 3 p.m. ET, at Mississippi State on Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. ET, at South Carolina on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. ET, at Ole Miss on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. ET and at Texas A&M on Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. ET. Kentucky’s home conference games on the SEC Network feature its matchup against Missouri on Jan. 29 at 3 p.m. ET and its regular-season closer against Tennessee on Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. ET.
Lady Cardinals Announce Tip Times and TV Designations for 2022-23 Schedule
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Game times and TV designations have been announced for the University of Louisville men’s basketball schedule. The Cardinals will play 12 games on the ESPN family of networks, as well as another 12 games on the ACC Network. Additionally, UofL’s rivalry matchup at Kentucky will air on CBS. Games on the ESPN family of networks include all three in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational – starting at 5 p.m. on Nov. 21 against Arkansas on ESPN2 – as well as home games against Maryland in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge (ESPN/2), Western Kentucky (ESPN2), Syracuse (ESPN/2/U), North Carolina (ESPN), Florida State (ESPN/2/U) and Virginia (ESPN/2/U). Road trips to Notre Dame (ESPN/2), Duke (ESPN) and Virginia (ESPN/2) will also receive similar coverage. The regular season opener, now slated for 9 p.m. on Nov. 9 against Bellarmine, will be the first of 12 games on the ACC Network. Four games this season will air on the ACC’s regional sports networks (RSN), beginning with the Dec. 17 home game against Florida A&M. Four UofL games, including the opening exhibitions against Lenoir-Rhyne on Oct. 30 and Chaminade on Nov. 3, will originate on ACC Network Extra. The game time for Louisville’s home game against Wright State on Nov. 12 will be determined later so as to not conflict with the UofL at Clemson football game the same day (football kick time to be set later). The tip time for the Cardinals’ regular season finale at Virginia will also be determined at a later date, but will be either 12, 2 or 4 p.m. Before the games arrive, the Cardinals will host their annual preseason basketball event, Louisville Live, on Oct. 21 at Louisville Slugger Field. Kentucky Baseball Hosts Marshall in Fall Exhibition Game
Fall baseball is back in the Bluegrass. Kentucky baseball will host an exhibition game on Sunday, October 9 when Marshall arrives at Kentucky Proud Park. First pitch is at 1 p.m.ET and admission is free. NCAA rules allow for schools to play two games against outside competition during the fall. The Wildcats also will travel to Mason, Ohio to face Xavier at Prasco Park on Saturday, Oct. 22.
Cardinals Announce Tip Times and TV Designations for 2022-23 Schedule
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville women’s basketball team announced the official tip times and TV designations for the 2022-23 season. The schedule is highlighted by 18 games on national TV including five games on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, including the Jan. 22 home matchup against NC State that will air on ABC. The season opener on Monday, November 7 against Cincinnati is set to be aired on ACC Network. Another non-conference home matchup will be aired nationally as the ACC/B1G clash against Ohio State will be on the ACC Network on Nov. 30. The Battle for the Bluegrass matchup against Kentucky will be on ESPN on Dec. 11. The final non-conference game of the season at DePaul will also be aired nationally as the Dec. 21 matchup will be on FS1. The ACC opener against Pitt on Dec. 18 will be on the ACC Network. The New Year’s Day road clash with Duke will be aired RSN. When the Cardinals return home on Jan. 5 against Georgia Tech, it will be aired nationally on the ACC Network. The weekend matinee against Pitt on Jan. 8 will also be aired on the ACC Network. The road clash in Tallahassee against Florida State on Jan. 15 will be the second of two games for the Cardinals that will be aired on RSN. Louisville returns home for the marquee matchup against NC State on Jan. 22, which will air nationally on ABC. The Cardinals will be on ACC Network when they play at Wake Forest on Jan. 26 and at Syracuse on Jan. 29. The Cardinals kick off February at home against North Carolina, a matchup that will be aired on ESPN2. The Cardinals will be on ESPN when they face Notre Dame on Feb. 16 in South Bend and Feb. 26 in Louisville. The other three matchups will be on ACC Network against Clemson on Feb. 12, Boston College on Feb. 19 and Miami on Feb. 23.
