Much-needed rainfall is expected across the region this week and while Tuesday will be hot and humid, temperatures should cool by the end of the week.
There’s some chance of rain in western Kentucky everyday this week, with the greatest chances Wednesday through Friday, and Christine Wielgos with the National Weather Service in Paducah says some locations could see an inch or two of precipitation.
The long-range outlook is showing next week to be warmer and wetter than normal.
There’s a marginal risk for severe weather multiple days this week, but a major severe weather outbreak isn’t expected.
