>>Titans Rookies Report To Training Camp

(Nashville, TN)  —  The Titans continue their training camp today from Saint Thomas Sports Park in Nashville.  Rookies reported over the weekend and one major story is the shape of first round pick Treylon Burks.  E-S-P-N’s Dianna Russini says the wide receiver has lost weight and is showing significant growth.  Meanwhile, cornerback Caleb Farley is projected to have a breakout camp after missing significant time last season with a knee injury.  Veterans report to training camp tomorrow.

>>Tennessee Football Hit With 18 Recruiting Violations

(Knoxville, TN)  —  Former Tennessee football head coach Jeremy Pruitt and the program are receiving a notice of allegations from the NCAA involving 18 alleged recruiting violations.  The violations, which took place from 2018 to 2020, accuse Pruitt, his wife, and multiple staff members of supplying over 20 recruits with amenities and gifts costing around 60-thousand dollars.  All the violations are Level One, which is the most severe of the four-level NCAA infractions scale.

>>XFL Adds Vegas, Orlando And San Antonio As New Teams

(Arlington, TX)  —  The XFL is adding some major markets to its next season.  The league announced Sunday that three new cities are joining the league: Las Vegas, Orlando and San Antonio.  The teams take the place of New York, Los Angeles and Tampa Bay, which were the clubs with the lowest attendance during the 2020 season.  In total, the XFL has eight teams with the rest coming from Houston, St. Louis, Seattle, Washington DC and Arlington.

>>Tony Finau Wins 3M Open

(Blaine, MN)  —  Tony Finau is celebrating a victory at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota after winning the 3M Open.  Finau finished atop the leaderboard at 17 under par after shooting a 67 on the final day.  This is the third top-two finish for Finau this season after finishing second at the Mexico Open and RBC Canadian Open.

>>Chase Elliott Wins NASCAR Cup Series At Pocono After Hamlin And Busch Disqualified

(Long Pond, PA)  —  Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch will not be keeping their first and second place status after the NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono.  Hamlin, who had finished first, was disqualified after failing post-race inspection as well as Busch, who finished second.  Instead, original third place finisher Chase Elliott is being awarded with the win.  Tyler Reddick is now the second place finisher while Daniel Suarez is third.  Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson round out the top five.

>>Nashville Shares Points With Cincinnati In 1-1 Draw

(Cincinnati, OH)  —  Nashville S-C earned just one point in their 1-1 draw with Cincinnati.  The club got out to an early lead after Teal Bunbury scored in the sixth-minute.  However, Cincy answered in the second half when Brandon Vazquez netted a goal in the 52nd-minute.  Nashville is back playing on Saturday when they host Vancouver.
