The St. Elmo Homemakers are bringing back their annual Barbecue Fundraiser and all money brought in this year will go toward renovations on the old community school.
Martha Garnett and Sara Ann Chambers with the group appeared on WHOP Tuesday and say it will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, July 14 and it’s the first fundraiser in the last five years.
Some work on the school has already been accomplished, but there’s a lot to be done.
Tickets are $13 and can be bought in advance from any St. Elmo Homemaker or at United Southern Bank in Pembroke, Christian County Judge-Executive Steve Tribble’s office, Nutrien Ag in Pembroke, the Farmer’s Daughter Boutique, Christian County Farm Bureau on Fort Campbell Boulevard and the Christian County Ag Extension Office.
