Pennyrile Electric’s first week of customer appreciation days have been a big success and while the buckets and light bulbs are being handed out in the individual communities, you’ll still be able to get into the Western Kentucky State Fair for free later this month with a ticket from the cooperative.
Brent Gilkey was at the Elkton City County Park Friday morning for the Todd County edition of customer appreciation day and says over 900 members showed up for the events earlier in the week in Cadiz and Hopkinsville.
This year’s annual meeting will be virtual, but Pennyrile Electric Day at the Western Kentucky State Fair will be Tuesday, June 28 and members got a ticket to get in for free in their Kentucky Living magazine.
The next customer appreciation day will be Monday at the Logan County Extension pavilion in Russellville and the final one will be June 15 in the parking lot of the Lewisburg IGA.
