Four people were injured in a rain-related accident Monday on I-24.
Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Noisworthy investigated and determined Ashley Oaks of Clarksville had been headed east near the 75 mile-marker when she hydroplaned and struck a guard rail on the left side of the road.
Two passengers, Emily Ratliff and Joyce Vanhoose of Paintsiville, were ejected out of the back window of the SUV into the median. They and a minor passenger, Brady Ratliff of Paintsville, were taken by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital in Clarksville for treatment of injuries.
A tractor-trailer slowed to avoid striking Oaks and it was rear-ended by a car driven by Sydney Burke of Oak Grove.
Burke was also taken by ambulance to Tennova.
