The non-partisan filing deadline has come and gone and there are now two contested races for spots on the Christian County School Board.
Felicia Howard filed with the Christian County Clerk’s Office to run for school board in District 3 and will face Lindsey Clark.
As previously reported, Board Chair Tom Bell is opposed by Dan Mason in District 5.
Meanwhile, Lafayette Mayor Jared Thatcher has filed for re-election and is unopposed. In fact, the mayors of Lafayette, Crofton and Pembroke area all unopposed.
