The party gets underway Saturday evening at the Alhambra Theatre as Billy Bob Thornton and his band the Boxmasters take the stage for the Hoptown HopFest.
The show gets under way at 7:30 p.m. at the historic theater, and Pennyroyal Arts Council Director Margaret Prim says they’re thrilled for this headline act at HopFest—which was moved up to Saturday from its usual dates in November.
She says all money raised during the event goes back into taking care of the theatre and further expanding their offerings and technological capabilities.
The Boxmasters have opened for bands like ZZ Top, Willie Nelson and Kid Rock and Prim says there are still some tickets up for grabs but they’re going quick. For more information on the event, or any others the Alhambra is hosting this summer, call (270) 887-4295.
