The Hoptown Hoppers announced the final two players for the 2022 roster yesterday. One is Jacob Dilday, a right hand pitcher who just graduated from Hopkinsville High School. He’s headed to Rend Lake College in the fall. The other is also a right hand pitcher. Ryan Tressler is from Gallatin, TN and plays for John A. Logan College.
The Hoppers open the 2022 season Thursday night hosting defending champion Dubois County at 6:30 at Hopkinsville High’s Tiger Field. F&M Bank pregame coverage begins at 6:10 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and online at whopam.com.
A reminder that fans will have a chance to meet the 2022 Hoppers team this evening at Meet the Hoppers at Casey Jones Distillery. The event begins at 7 pm.
