Unseasonably hot weather will move into the region this week, brining highs in the 90’s and the humidity will make it feel like a mid-summer day.
Dan Spaeth with the National Weather Service in Paducah said during this week’s conference call that you can expect the mercury to rise above 90 Tuesday through Thursday and anyone planning to work out in the heat should be prepared to take precautions such as drinking plenty of fluids and taking frequent breaks indoors or in a shady area.
There are no major rainmakers in the forecast this week, but Spaeth says there could be some scattered storms this weekend.
