The Hoptown Hopfest is making a summer time showing on June 4 when famous actor and musician Billy Bob Thornton comes to the Alhambra Theatre with his band the Boxmasters.
Pennyroyral Arts Council Executive Director Margaret Prim says they’re excited for the performance, as the Boxmasters have opened for bands like ZZ Top, Willie Nelson and Kid Rock.
She says there will be activities taking place outside the theater before the show begins at 7:30 p.m. June 4 as part of the Hopfest and they still have a few tickets available for purchase.
Tickets are $50 per person. Prim says they have a full summer of art camps, from music to theater production.
All funds raised by the event will go back to benefit the historic Alhambra Theatre.
