Fire damaged a smoke pit building behind The Wood Shed Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Henderson says firefighters were able to quickly put a blaze that began in the cooking area out and there were no reports of injuries.
There was no significant damage to any of the adjoining buildings behind the restaurant.
The Wood Shed posted on its Facebook page that they would be open for business as usual.
