Investigation by Madisonville police has led to a man being arrested for alleged sexual abuse against a juvenile.
A news release says that on multiple occasions between December of 2021 and February of this year, 25-year old Edward Legrand of Madisonville had sexual contact with a juvenile under the age of 16.
He’s also accused of engaging in sexual conversations with a juvenile and obtaining explicit photos from the victim.
Legrand is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, third-degree sodomy and use of an electronic device to procure a minor.
Police say Legrand admitted to the alleged crimes.
