Man shot in leg at Clarksville hotel

A man was flown to a Nashville hospital following a shooting Saturday night at a Clarksville hotel.

Clarksville police say officers were notified of a shooting at the Guest House Hotel on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard about 9:30 p.m. after a man called 911 and said he had been shot in the leg.

Responding officers found three men running from the scene and while two of them were caught and taken into custody, they have not been arrested. Police say it was determined they were present, but not responsible for the robbery or shooting.

Clarksville police have taken out a juvenile petition for especially aggravated robbery on a 16-year old male from Nashville, who at one time lived in Clarksville. Detectives are attempting to determine his whereabouts.

The shooting victim was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of his injuries and his name has not been released.

Anyone with information on the incident should call Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS.
