Hopkinsville police investigated a robbery Friday night near the West Seventh Street Wendy’s.
A 29-year old woman told police an unknown male suspect punched her in the nose and took her cell phone about 10:15 p.m.
The cell phone was later recovered, but the police report says it had been damaged.
The victim’s injuries are described as minor and the suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested.
