University Heights picked up a 19-7 victory over Fort Campbell in 8th district play Tuesday. Katie Keller and Reagan Pollard each had four hits in the win for the Lady Blazers now 3-3 overall and 1-0 in district play. The Lady Falcons fell to 2-7/0-2 in district games.
Christian County routed Calloway County 16-1 in 5 innings. The Lady Colonels improved to 12-5 on the season and play at Marshall County Thursday.
Hopkinsville fell to Trigg County 16-7. Jakayla Grubbs had three hits in defeat for the Lady Tigers, now 2-7-1 on the season. Hopkinsville is back in action Thursday hosting Todd Central.
Elsewhere: Franklin Simpson run ruled Todd Central 13-3 in 5 innings, Logan County defeated Russellville 2-0, Lyon County routed Caldwell County 14-4 in the 2nd Region All A Classic.
