McGee takes loss for Bulls to Sounds, Hot Rods sweep Tourists

The Nashville Sounds scored four times in the seventh to edge the Durham Bulls in the series finale 4-3 Sunday. Hopkinsville’s Easton McGee took the pitching loss for the Bulls, going three innings in relief allowing five hits, four runs-all earned and struck out six. The Bulls are off today before playing the first of a six game home series with Jacksonville tomorrow night. The Sounds are also off today before beginning a six game series at Gwinnett tomorrow night.

The Bowling Green Hot Rods finished a sweep of the Asheville Tourists with a 1-0 win Sunday at Bowling Green Ballpark. After an off day today, the Hot Rods begin a series at the Hickory Crawdads tomorrow night.
