The Christian County Health Department was sad to report two new COVID-19 deaths in the community, along with seven COVID-19 cases.
According to a news release, the two victims were an 85-year-old female and a 55-year-old female, both unvaccinated. Christian County has now had 192 COVID-19 deaths.
Those seven new cases puts the active case count locally at nine—there have been 17,161 cases in total, with 16,960 people recovering from the virus.
