HERO Sports.com reports Murray State University will be introduced today as the 12th member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference. The Racers athletic programs are heading to the Missouri Valley Conference in all sports except for football in the 2022-23 school year. Murray State will play one more year as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference in 2022. The Racers will join North Dakota State, Missouri State, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois, South Dakota, Northern Iowa, Indiana State, North Dakota, Illinois State, Youngstown State and Western Illinois in the MVFC in 2023.
