J.J. Spaun is celebrating a victory at this year’s Valero Texas Open in San Antonio. At 13-under par, it’s Spaun first top-10 finish since placing seventh at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship back in October. Matt Jones and Matt Kuchar finished tied for second place at 11-under par. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker tied for 18th at seven under par.
Tiger Woods says it will be a “game-time decision” whether he will play at the Masters. In a social media post Sunday morning, he made the comment along with saying he was heading to Augusta, GA to continue preparing and practicing. The 15-time golf major champion was in a serious car accident in February of last year. He suffered a serious leg injury in the crash and has not competed since the accident.
