Jennie Stuart Health home to new robotic Knee System technology

Jennie Stuart Health is pleased to announce the arrival of Zimmer Biomet’s ROSA Knee System, sophisticated robotic technology that will exponentially revolutionize orthopaedics at Jennie Stuart.

According to a news release, Jennie Stuart Health was the first organization in Kentucky to acquire ROSA as an option and has already completed more robotic total knees than any other group in the commonwealth. ROSA Knee is a robotically-assisted surgical system designed to help perform total knee replacement surgery, and includes features to assist with bone resections and assessing the state of soft tissues in order to facilitate implant positioning intraoperatively.

Orthopedic surgeons and the medical staff at Jennie Stuart Health are excited to offer the ROSA Knee System, which brings together robotic technology with industry-leading knee implants to help surgeons personalize and customize surgical procedures for their patients. With this technology, most patients will be able to return home on the same day their procedure is scheduled and completed.
