Kentucky’s Oscar Tshiebwe is one of five finalists for the John R. Wooden Award, given to the nation’s top player. Tshiebwe averaged 17.4 points and 15.1 rebounds for the Wildcats this season. He won the National Association of Basketball Coaches Player of the Year and Pete Newell Big Man of the Year awards Wednesday.
