Murray State won its 12 consecutive game Sunday downing UT Martin 3-0. The Racers are 22-8/6-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference as they host Austin Peay in a 2 pm doubleheader Tuesday. The games were to have been played Wednesday, but are being moved up due to weather concerns.
Speaking of Austin Peay, the Governors split a doubleheader with Morehead State Sunday, winning 7-4 in the opener, falling in the nightcap 9-1. Austin Peay is now 15-15 overall and 2-4 in the OVC.
Former Christian County standout Emmy Blane went 0-1 Sunday in Kentucky’s walk off 5-4 victory over Auburn. Kentucky is now 22-7/3-3 in the SEC and returns to action tomorrow hosting Ohio State.
