Jordan Wright had 24 points as Vanderbilt defeated Belmont 82-71 in the opening round of the NIT last night in Nashville. The Commodores are now 18-16 and will face either Dayton or Toledo, who play this evening. Date, site and time will be determined after tonight’s game.

The Racers face San Francisico at 8:40 tomorrow night. Tennessee is also in Indianapolis readying for its South Region game Thursday afternoon at 1:45 against Longwood in the South Region.
