Salvation Army leader talks about service to community

The Salvation Army of Hopkinsville continues to be busy serving those most in need in the community.

Lt. Lindsey Galabeas appeared on WHOP Monday morning and says while they continue to serve meals on a to-go basis for now, they’re planning to reopen the cafeteria soon as the world emerges from the pandemic.

The Salvation Army continues to offer its food pantry and clothes voucher programs to those in need.

The overnight shelter has remained at capacity most nights and the extreme weather shelter has been used again this winter on especially cold nights.
