The Christian County Health Department reported only 12 new cases of COVID-19 since last week, some of the lowest case numbers in months.
According to a news release, that means only 30 cases locally are considered active and 16,907 people have recovered from the virus since the pandemic began. There have been 17,121 total cases in Christian County, along with 184 COVID-19 deaths.
These numbers do not include at-home COVID tests.
