Major League Baseball is postponing another week of regular season games. In a statement released by the league, it was announced Opening Day is moving to at least April 14th after talks stalled once again on Wednesday. Commissioner Rob Manfred said in the statement that clubs went to “extraordinary” lengths to meet MLBPA demands, but this week’s bargaining sessions resulted in no deal. There is no word when talks will resume.

Princeton’s Emma Talley had a three under 69 overnight at the LPGA Tour’s Honda LPGA Thailand event. Talley is tied for 34th and is six shots behind three co-leaders. The second round will be played overnight this evening.

The PGA Tour remains in the Sunshine State this weekend for The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach. Last year’s champion Justin Thomas will defend his crown alongside Rory McIlroy and Collin Morikawa in the first round. Thomas is hoping to once again take home the largest purse of the season, with $ 3.6 million going to the winner. Rickie Fowler will miss The Players for the first time since joining the Tour in 2010.
