The Christian County Health Department will be changing some COVID-19 related services, as case numbers continue to drop locally.
Chole Rager with the department appeared on WHOP Tuesday morning and says that the demand for COVID-19 testing has dropped so significantly, that they’re closing their testing services down on March 14—she says they will bring it back if needed.
She says other healthcare services locally will continue to offer testing, and people can request free tests be sent to them from covidtest.gov—they will also only be giving COVID vaccines on Wednesday and Thursday of each week.
All COVID-19 vaccines are now given on a walk-in basis—no appointment is needed. For more information on COVID data and procedures, contact the Christian County Health Department at 270-887-4160.
