Three hurt in Logan County collision

Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Logan County Tuesday morning.

According to a news release, deputies responded to the 8000 block of Lewisburg Road and an investigation determined that a vehicle driven by 82-year-old James Obenchain of Dunmor had attempted to make a left-hand turn while heading northbound. He turned into the path of a pickup truck operated by 72-year-old Normon Johnson of Lewisburg and the two-collided.

A third vehicle, driven by 59-year-old James Rolley of Greenville, then rear-ended Obenchain. Obenchain, Johnson and a passenger in his vehicle, 62-year-old Alvin Harper of Lewisburg, were transported to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
