Seventh ranked Kentucky got back on the winning ways with a 83-72 victory over Ole Miss last night at Rupp Arena. Oscar Tsheibwe led the Wildcats with 18 points and 15 rebounds with Savir Wheeler adding 16 and TyTy Washington off the bench had 14 as Kentucky improved to 24-6. Elsewhere in the SEC: 13th ranked Tennessee defeated Georgia 75-68. The Vols are 22-7 and return to action Saturday hosting 14th ranked Arkansas.
Florida eased by Vanderbilt 82-78. The Commodores fell to 14-15 with the loss and play at Ole Miss Saturday.

The Louisville Cardinals struggles continue as they fell at Virginia Tech 75-43. The Cardinals-now 12-17 on the season-host Virginia Saturday.

The Ohio Valley Conference tournament begins today at the Ford Center in Evansville. Among first round games, Austin Peay’s men face Tennessee Tech with the winner to meet Morehead State in the quarterfinals Thursday night. Tipoff is set for 9 pm.
