According to reports, the two sides made major progress overnight on a deal and a new deadline was established for 5 p.m. Eastern today. The sides reportedly made progress in multiple areas, including expanded playoffs. The new deadline is to avoid the cancellation of any games.

Ja Morant put together yet another spectacular performance in the Memphis Grizzlies 118-105 win over the San Antonio Spurs last night. Morant had a career high 52 points in the victory. Memphis returns to action Thursday night at the Boston Celtics.
Bowling Green native Terry Taylor had seven points and five rebounds off the bench in the Indiana Pacers 119-103 loss to the Orlando Magic. The Pacers host the Magic Wednesday night.
