Fire damaged a building at East Fourth and Liberty Street early Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Lt. Payton Rogers says Hopkinsville police officers saw smoke coming from a commercial building about 4:15 a.m. and ECC dispatched two stations to the scene.
They found heavy smoke and quickly knocked down the fire soon after making entry.
The building sustained heavy fire and smoke damage, but no injuries were reported.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
