The Christian County Health Department has reported four new COVID-19 deaths, but only 68 new cases within the last week.
According to a news release, two of the individuals are described as an 88-year-old male and 70-year-old female, both fully vaccinated, along with two unvaccinated individuals, a 54-year-old male and a 69-year-old male.
While the 68 new cases do not include at-home COVID tests, it does bring the overall totally of cases locally since the pandemic began up to 17,091—of that, 155 are considered active and 16,752 people have recovered from the virus.
Christian County has now had 183 COVID-19 deaths.
