A vehicle pursuit that began Monday night in Cheatham County, Tennessee ended on Fort Campbell Boulevard with the arrest of a Clarksville man on multiple charges.
Christian County ECC was notified by law enforcement in Tennessee that they were in pursuit of a vehicle and deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department picked up the chase as it crossed the state line on I-24.
Spike strips were used on Fort Campbell Boulevard in the area of Lovers Lane to disable the car and deputies arrested 42-year old Marquis Tanner of Clarksville for fleeing or evading police, driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana, speeding and failure to wear a seat belt.
He is also likely to face additional charges in Tennessee.
