Gov. says COVID incidences in Ky. continue to decline

Things continue to trend in the right direction where it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic in Kentucky, as Governor Andy Beshear gave an update Thursday.

The positivity rate is now falling rapidly, down another whole percentage point from the day before, now at 15.19 percent.  Governor Beshear says they’ve seen declines in case numbers and hospitalizations and are eager to see that keep going.

He says he thinks Kentucky could fall the way into the ‘green’, which is very hopeful, good news.

There were 4,867 new cases reported from Wednesday to Thursday, along with 37 new deaths, putting the death toll at 13,519 since the pandemic began.
