The KHSAA Board of Control voted today to stop playing teams within their own districts in the first two rounds of the KHSAA football playoffs. There had been plans to change this in 2023, but 64 percent of schools surveyed asked for this to be moved up a year.
KHSAA Commissioner Julian Tackett announced there will be no Covid related restrictions at the winter sports championships and no mask requirements. He did however say that individual areas could have restrictions at the district and regional levels.
