Beginning Monday, masking will be optional in Todd County Schools.
District officials say any student who wants to wear a mask will still be able to do so, masking will still be required on buses per the federal requirement and the policy could be revisited again in the future if conditions warrant.
They say most importantly, they remain committed to maintaining five day a week in-person instruction.
