Christian County had a 31-23 lead over Webster County going to the fourth quarter before the Trojans rallied for a 44-42 victory in Dixon. The Colonels had two players score in double figures with Breland Morrison leading the way with 14 points and Derrell Bateman added 12. Christian County falls to 8-19 on the season and plays at Hopkinsville Monday night.
Hopkinsville was routed at Lyon County 82-56. The Tigers fell behind 35-15 at the half. Bubba Leavell led the Tiger scoring with 14 points with KC Cabiness adding 12 as the Tigers fell to 16-5. Travis Perry had a game high 30 points as Lyon County improved to 19-5. University Heights fell to Madisonville 58-53. The Blazers got 15 points from Gavin Grubbs, 12 points from Trevonne Wallace and 11 from Preston Thomas in falling to 8-13. Kale Gaither of Madisonville led all scorers with 23 points as the Maroons improved to 18-8. University Heights meets McCracken County at Lyon County this evening.
