The Christian County Health Department reported 268 COVID-19 cases since last week.
That is a significant decrease in newly reportedly cases in comparison to the last several weeks—last week saw roughly 600 new cases—and brings the overall total since the pandemic began locally up to 16,908.
Of that, 620 cases are considered active and 16,108 people have recovered from the virus. Christian County has had 179 COVID-19 deaths.
