College Basketball

Multiple outlets reported top ranked Auburn University announced Friday night they will keep coach Bruce Pearl for another eight years. Pearl had been rumored for the coaching vacancy at the University of Louisville. Auburn puts its 16 game win streak on the line against Oklahoma today in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

NBA

Ja Morant recorded a triple double of 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Memphis Grizzlies downed the Utah Jazz 119-109 last night in Memphis. The Grizzlies are back in action this evening hosting the Washington Wizards.

Golf

Princeton’s Emma Talley had a four under 68 Friday and is tied for 49th place at even par heading into today’s third round of the Gainbridge LPGA in Boca Raton, FL. Danielle Kang and Lydia Ko are co-leaders at 11 under par.

Will Zalatoris and Jason Day are tied for the lead at 14 under par heading into the final round of the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines near San Diego. Louisville area native Justin Thomas-who was a co-leader going into Friday’s third round-is tied for fifth at 12 under.
