MORNING SPORTS BRIEFS 1/27/22

NFL

Brett Favre is not confident that current Green Bay Packers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be returning. In an appearance on WNSP in Mobile, Alabama, Favre said he has a gut feeling Rodgers may try his hand somewhere else. Favre went on to mention that quarterbacks like Tom Brady, Joe Montana, and Peyton Manning switched teams after a long, productive career somewhere else. Rodgers has said that he does not want to be part of a rebuilding process, and was noncommittal as to whether he will return to the Packers.

NBA

Ja Morant was fantastic yet again, dropping 41 points and eight assists in the Memphis Grizzlies 118-110 win over the San Antonio Spurs last night. Memphis improves to 33-and-17 and host the Utah Jazz tomorrow night.

NHL

The Nashville Predators put their three game win streak on the line tonight in the Great White North against the Edmonton Oilers. First puck drops at 8 pm.
