First round games in the 2nd Region All A Tournament took place last night. University Heights routed Dawson Springs 70-36. The Blazers were led in scoring by Quinton Quarles with 15 points, Bryson Northington added 11 and Levar Northington pitched in 10 as UHA moved to 6-7.Dawson Springs was led by Rett Pieters with eight points in falling to 1-9. UHA will face Caldwell County in the first semifinal Friday night at 6. The Tigers downed Livingston Central 91-53.
In other action, Heritage Christian got a forfeit win over Fort Campbell due to gym issues. The Warriors will meet Lyon County in the second semifinal Friday night as the Lyons defeated Crittenden County 75-63.
